Ride to Eugene Fundraiser

We are hosting a bike ride from Portland to Eugene. The ride will start off with a public interest press conference about the future of sustainable transportation in the Portland Metro and the surrounding Northwest community.

Food and coffee will be provided by the Portland State Co-op, Food For Thought. Several local news organizations such as Channel 8 News, The Vanguard, and others have all been invited to attend. Also, anyone who has questions about High-Speed Rail technology and other sustainable transportation options in Portland is welcome to attend. Rex Burkholder, representative of the 5th Metro District for 10 years and current Metro Presidential Candidate, will be there to answer questions.

The event will start at 9:00am on Saturday, March 20th. We will have music, food, and a Q&A from Rex Burkholder and others. After that, the bikers will take off for Eugene!

Everyone is welcome, no door charge but donations will be accepted.
